Instead of redirecting internet connections through a VPN server, Meshnet allows users to route their traffic through other devices over encrypted private tunnels. This means that NordVPN subscribers can connect their own devices, those of family members and friends.
“This feature release is a game changer and will really change how our users use NordVPN,” said Vykintas Maknickas, Product Strategist at NordVPN.
“Our product team has worked relentlessly over the past few years, which really started developing our flagship technology – NordLynx – the foundation behind Meshnet that enables us to provide enhanced privacy solutions without sacrificing industry-leading speed.”
Meshnet was officially released today and will be available for all operating systems – from Windows, Linux and MacOs to Android and iOS smartphones.
